1. Booking, Minimum Numbers, and Confirmation
Expression of Interest:
Submitting a registration form via our website places you on the workshop waitlist and does not guarantee a spot or commit you to payment.Minimum Attendance:
Our workshops require a minimum number of participants to run successfully.Course Confirmation:
Once the minimum numbers are met, we will contact you via email to confirm the workshop dates and provide a secure payment link. Your spot is only locked in once full payment is received. If payment is not made within [e.g., 48 hours] of receiving the link, your spot may be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
2. Cancellations and Refunds (By You)
We understand that life happens! Because our class sizes are very small, late cancellations significantly impact the studio.
More than 14 days before the workshop:
You are eligible for a full refund or a free transfer to a future workshop date.7 to 14 days before the workshop:
You are eligible for a [e.g., 50%] refund, or a transfer to a future date if we can fill your spot from the waitlist.Less than 7 days before the workshop:
Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds or transfers for cancellations made within 7 days of the class, as materials have been prepared and the spot cannot easily be refilled. However, you are welcome to send a friend in your place—just let us know their name in advance!
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling (By Knitward)
Under-subscription:
If a confirmed workshop falls below minimum numbers due to late student cancellations, or due to unforeseen circumstances (such as tutor illness), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the class.Our Promise:
In the rare event that we must cancel a workshop, you will be offered a choice between a 100% full refund or an immediate transfer to a future date. Knitward is not responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses incurred.
4. Studio Safety, Equipment, and Conduct
Machine Safety:
During machine knitting workshops, you will be using industrial-grade domestic knitting machines. Hania will take you through a full safety briefing. Students must follow all safety instructions to prevent personal injury or damage to the machinery.Liability:
Knitward holds full public liability insurance. However, students are responsible for their own personal belongings while at the studio.Age Restrictions:
Our standard workshops are designed for adults (ages 18+). If you are booking for someone under 18, please contact us prior to registering to see if the class is suitable.
5. Intellectual Property
Course Materials:
Any physical or digital handouts, pattern sheets, or technical guides provided during the workshop are for your personal use only. They may not be reproduced, shared online, or used for commercial teaching purposes without written permission from Hania Dudziak.
6. Photography and Media
We love capturing the energy of the studio! We may occasionally take photos or short videos during the workshops to use on Knitward's social media, website, or academy marketing.
Your Privacy:
If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, simply let Hania know at the start of the class and we will strictly respect your wishes.
